2004–05 United States network television schedule

This was the United States broadcast television schedule on all six commercial television networks for the fall season beginning in September 2004. All times are Eastern and Pacific.

Beginning this season, the major networks were no longer producing original dramatic content for Saturday broadcast (an exception being ABC's The Wonderful World of Disney, although it often featured rebroadcast material). Saturday schedules consisted instead of nonfiction reality-based programming and rebroadcasts of dramatic series episodes from earlier in the week.

New series are highlighted in bold.

     Lime indicates the #1 most watched program of the season.[1]
     Yellow indicates the top ten most watched programs of the season.[1]
     Cyan indicates the top 20 most watched programs of the season.[1]
     Magenta indicates the top 30 most watched programs of the season.[1]
     Orange indicates the top 40 most watched programs of the season.[1]
     Silver indicates the top 50 most watched programs of the season.[1]

Rankings determined by Nielsen Media Research.

PBS, the Public Broadcasting Service, was in operation, but the schedule was set by each local station.
